Household Batteries

It is illegal to dispose of household batteries in curbside trash or recycling containers, because they contain heavy metals and are corrosive.
 Household batteries, both rechargeable and alkaline, can be recycled elsewhere.

    Businesses and organizations that are Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators may use this center by appointment only on the fourth Wednesday of the month.  Appointments can be made by calling 1-800-98-TOXIC (1-800-988-6942)
