Memorial Park

Memorial Park, 1.5 acres located at the intersection of Foothill Blvd. and La Cañada Blvd. is the center for a variety of community outdoor events. Features include:
  • Large open lawn space
  • Separate playgrounds for toddlers (covered) and older children
  • Picnic tables
  • Hillside walkway
  • Gazebo with bandstand
  • Restrooms; and
  • Memorials to the City’s military veterans, placed on the base of the gazebo.

Events at Memorial Park

Many community activities take place in Memorial Park including Fiesta Days events during Memorial Day weekend; and Music in the Park on Sunday evenings during the summer, 2016 Music in the Park Schedule. The Festival in Lights celebration is held early in December and the gazebo is outlined in white lights for the holiday season.

Reserving Memorial Park

Please view our Frequently Asked Questions for more information.  In order to reserve Memorial Park, please complete the Online Park Reservation Request Form or submit a copy of the application to the Administration Department located in City Hall.  Applications submitted by residents should be received at least 31 days in advance; non-residents should submit applications at least 60 days in advance.  Payment and submission of liability insurance is also required, special event insurance can be purchased through the City (average cost per day $81). 

Fees associated with reserving Memorial Park:

 Recreational Facility Fee    $20.00 per hour of park usage
 Electrical Fees:
     $85.00 1st hour
    $10.00 additional hours
 Cleaning Fee*
(4 hours minimum)
    $47.50 per hour (Mon-Sat)
    $58 per hour (Sun)

*A cleaning fee will be charged to any person or group if a field or facility is left in an unacceptable condition, i.e. trash not picked up, graffiti present, or any other condition as not the same as before using the site.  This fee will be charged after cleanup.

A Porter/Cleaning Service of $47.50 per hour (carries a four (4) hour minimum) is required for any sizable event.
