The City has six municipal parks which offer a wide variety of recreational opportunities

Reserving Memorial Park

Reservations are available for Memorial Park. All other City parks are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please view our Frequently Asked Questions for more information.  In order to reserve Memorial Park, please complete the Online Park Reservation Request Form or submit a copy of the application to the Administration Department located in City Hall.  Applications submitted by residents should be received at least 31 days in advance; non-residents should submit applications at least 60 days in advance.  Payment and submission of liability insurance is also required, special event insurance can be purchased through the City (average cost per day $81). 

Fees associated with reserving Memorial Park:
 Recreational Facility Fee    $20.00 per hour of park usage
 Electrical Fees:
    $85.00 1st hour
    $10.00 per additional hour
 Cleaning Fee
(4 hours minimum)*
    Actual Cost
A cleaning fee will be charged to any person or group if a field or facility is left in an unacceptable condition, i.e. trash not picked up, graffiti present, or any other condition as not the same as before using the site.  This fee will be charged after cleanup.

A Porter/Cleaning Service (carries a four (4) hour minimum) is required for any sizable event.
