Reconstruction of Woodleigh Lane

between Berkshire Avenue and Foothill Boulevard

The Public Works Department will be hosting the first of two neighborhood meetings regarding the above referenced project. The purpose of the project is to improve the roadway pavement, build consistent height curb and improve drainage. In order to implement these improvements, the properties along Woodleigh Lane will be impacted for a period of approximately three to four months. Access to the residences will be maintained, but interrupted for short durations during construction. Also, the property frontage and existing driveways will be disturbed and reconstructed.

The purpose of the first meeting is to inform the property owners of the upcoming construction, discuss the project improvements, how the property frontages and traffic will be impacted during the construction period, and receive feedback regarding any concerns pertaining to the project.

The second meeting will be scheduled after the first of the year to review the overall project scope, resulting design plans based on feedback from the first meeting, and review the next step moving forward into construction.

The agenda for this first meeting will be as follows:

1. Introduction of staff members.

2. Brief overview of the project scope of work.

3. Open House to review project improvements at specific properties.

4. Closing remarks.

5. Question and an

swer period.

The meeting will take place:

Wednesday, November 6, 2013

6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall

Representatives from the Public Works Department and the Project Design Team (Willdan Engineering) will be there to answer questions.
