ConnectLCF

Introducing the City of La Cañada Flintridge’s planning, permitting and service request software

The City’s planning and permitting processes have changed!
Over the last year, the City

has been developing a new system to better serve our residents and clients.  This new platform, ConnectLCF, is digitalizing our processing. We are excited to announce that the system is LIVE.

Begining September 24th, the City will no longer accept paper applications and everything must be submitted through the ConnectLCF portal.  There will be kiosk stations at City Hall should you want to access the system in person.  There is no need to travel to City Hall, as you can submit online from the comfort of your home or business.  In addition, all plan checks will be done digitally and the City will now be able to process credit cards through the online portal.

The system will provide more transparancy to the public.  Anyone will be able to check whether permits exist for a project or check the status of pending planning cases.

Be sure to  gather all required submitals as listed in the Required Submittal Guide prior to applying.  Please submit one Complete Set of Plans.

  • Start with the Planning Department by applying for a Zoning Clearance Application through ConnectLCF Portal (login required).*

  • Following the Zoning Clearance, you will be informed if you are ready to apply for building permits or continue with the entitlement process.

  • If you are given the go ahead to apply for permits, login to ConnectLCF Portal and apply for the appropriate permits.  Make a note of your PLAN CASE NUMBER as you will be asked to provide it with your permit application!
*Most Trade Permits do not require a planning review and can apply directly for permits.
