The City of La Canada Flintridge weathered the recent storms very well with minimal impacts to the community. The local debris basins operated as designed capturing water, mud, and other debris material from the foothills. Following the storms, the debris basins remain relatively empty and are prepared to help protect property and lives.
Rainfall totals were approximately 5.5" from Thursday, February 27 through Saturday, March 1, however, because the state remains in a severe drought condition, residents are encouraged to Be Water Wise.
