The City of La Cañada Flintridge deployed a new version of its mass notification system (aka, reverse 911 system), called “Alert LCF.” During an emergency situation, Alert LCF can be used to contact residents to provide critical information (e.g., evacuation orders, shelter locations, etc.). Alert LCF may also be used for non-emergency purposes, such as to inform residents of road closures or community events.

Listed and unlisted landline phone numbers are already included in Alert LCF’s database, however, residents are highly encouraged to sign up online to receive notifications on their cellular, work, and any other phone number or email addresses. Please click here for the Alert LCF press release or click here to sign up with the system.
