posted Dec 7, 2017, 11:30 AM by Arabo Parseghian
The Creek Fire is now at 12,600 acres burned and fire crew have now achieved 10 percent containment of the fire, as of 10:00 AM.   The County of Los Angeles Fire Department still expects continuing winds across the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valley areas to make containment increasing difficult.

Presently, the City of La Cañada Flintridge is not threatened by the Creek Fire and there are no mandatory or recommended evacuations orders in place.

The Sunland, Shadow Hills, Lake View Terrace, and Sylmar areas still have as many as 2,500 homes under threat.
