  • Water Conservation & Tree Watering and Maintenance As a "Tree City USA," the City values trees as a community asset. The City provides trees in neighborhoods (within the public right-of-way) for aesthetics, shade, wind protection, and to help absorb pollutants in the air. While the City maintains these trees by trimming within a specific maintenance cycle, residents are asked to help provide regular irrigation to support the health of these trees. Trees need a good water supply to help produce sap to defend against boring pests.
